Great hotel if your passing through. Always has rooms.

My wife stayed several times before I made my 1st stay. I was very impressed. The guy at the front desk was very friendly and courteous. I was very impressed with the room, 151. It was quite large and accommodating. There is a barn door that separates the bath area from the rest of the room. The bathroom was good-sized. Lighting was very bright. Bed was comfortable. Night stands and TV area good sized. Lots of power plugs, on the bedside stand there were even European plugs. Now there were a few minor issues. The handles on the barn door could use a tightening, and light mounted over the desk was loose on the wall. But overall very worth the stay. There is an on-site laundry and breakfast and plenty of other stuff in the area.

What a wonderful place! Room was very clean. We arrived in time for their once a month guest dinner. Brenda the cook and hostess Was exceptional! You can tell she puts her heart into her job! The desk personnel was also extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Enjoyed our stay here. Rooms were nicely redone and clean. Plenty of parking and in decent area. Hot breakfast options. Only thing I wish I considered is that the Suburban suites (their version of extended stay) is attached. There was a couple trying to stay here that was clearly tweaked out on some drugs. Hotel was nice so sucks there were people on drugs ruining the atmosphere.

Very nice staff. Breakfast was good and well stocked, good coffee. Clean rooms and quiet hallways. Very convenient to the highway and good chain restaurants. It is also an extended stay so the vending area is modern with well stocked machines and a laundry area

This is the third year we have stayed at this Quality Inn and each visit has been a pleasure. The rooms are clean, even the window sills and curtains. Their is carpet in the bedroom that extends to the sink that is outside of the bathroom. Since we stay here to work long days, having the sink separate from the main bath is helpful. There is a door that slides so if you are getting ready and the others in the room are still sleeping you can pull the door shut. In addition, the TV is large. When ours did not work the desk clerk came up immediately and had the knowledge to fix it. The hot water is immediate, no need to wait for it. There are extra blankets in the open closet in case you get cold. But, no need for them since the heating system works well yet is not loud. The bed has end tables at each end which allows both the husband and wife to have one! A Gideon Bible and Blair County Visitor's Guide was found in the end table. Breakfast each morning was great. Hot eggs, either an omlete on the first morning or scrambled eggs on the next two. There was hot meat, we had bacon our first night! Plenty of fresh breads to choose from, hot coffee and hot water for tea or cocoa. Since the Quality Inn shares a parking lot with Perkins we were able to park our car after our long days and have dinner at Perkins. Perkins is open late so it was the perfect location. We just walked from Perkins to the Quality Inn. What a great place to stay!

Good mid level hotel in central Altoona Quality free breakfast from 7-10am Easy to get in and out of, close to I99 and Frankstown Rd

The perfect motel. Comfy beds, fridge and microwave in the room, and a real door on the bathroom. Rooms are updated and have modern lights and USB hookups. There are several restaurants and a grocery store nearby. Really friendly staff as well. Don't expect luxury, but it has everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. We stay here every time we're in town.
